Iranian Vice President Eshaq Jahangiri has issued the general terms of upstream oil and gas contracts to the Ministry of Petroleum. The terms are reviewed and passed by the government cabinet in its September 30 session. Included in the terms are articles regarding crude oil and gas recovery, production, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and improved oil recovery (IOR). Jahangiri issued the terms on November 02.
