West Oil and Gas Production Company

West Oil and Gas Production Company, based in Kermanshah, is one of the three ICOFC subsidiaries within Kermanshah, lllam, Khozestan and Lorestan provinces. This company is responsible for oil and gas production from Cheshmeh khosh, Dehloran, Sarkan/ Maleh kuh, Naftshahr and Tang-e-bijar operational regions.

Oil output from Sumar, Naftshahr, Sarkan, and Maleh kuh is transferred to Kermanshah refinery, and oil output from Northern Dezful oil fields is transferred to export ports and to the refineries in the northern part of the country for refining and domestic consumption. At present this company is capable of producing some 7 million cubic meters of gas and some 200 barrels of oil per day.

Operational Regions:

Cheshmeh Khosh Desalination and Production Unit:

Cheshmeh Khosh Production Unit is located 52 km from Dehloran in lllam province with nominal capacity of 130 thousand barrels of oil per day (75 thousand barrels of sweet oil and
55 thousand barrels of salt oil). This unit transfers oil output from Aban, Cheshmeh khosh, Paydar, West Paydar and Dalpari fields to Ahvaz Production Unit (No.3), and Chamran pump house.

Cheshmeh Khosh Desalination Unit was inaugurated in 2006 with nominal capacity of 75thousand barrels of oil.

Dehloran Desalination and Production Unit:

Dehloran Production Unit is located 20 km southwest of Dehloran city in lllam province with nominal capacity of 55 thousand barrels of oil per day. Once oil output of Dehloran and Danan fields is processed and sweetened, it is transferred to Cheshmeh Khosh Unit.

Also Dehloran Desalination Unit with nominal capacity of 55 thousand barrels of oil perdaywas operated in 20 14.

Sarkan I Maleh Kuh Production Unit:

Sarkan I Maleh Kuh Production Unit with nominal capacity of some 30 thousand barrels of oil per day is located 15 km from Poldokhtar city in lorestan province. Once its oil output is processed and sweetened, it is transferred to Afarineh pump house and then to Kermanshah refinery.

Naftshahr Production and Desalination Unit:

Naftshahr production unit is located 220 km west of Kermanshah and 60 km from Qasrshirin city. When Oil output of this field is processed, sweetened and desalinated, it is transferred to Naftshahr pump house and then to Kermanshah refinery.

Tang-e-bjar and Kaman Kuh Production Unit:

Tang-e-bijar and Kaman Kuh Production Unit is located 70 km from lllam city. First phase of the unit was launched in 2007. Its processing capacity is about 7 million cubic meters of gas, which is transferred to lllam gas refinery. Condensate output of the unit is also transferred to lllam refinery through a 6-inch-pipeline.
