South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company has successfully localized manufacturing of a key item used in air compressors.

According to the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, Hamid Izadi, the CEO of SZOGPC, said, "Due to technical problems on the Atlas Copco air compressor control cards in one of the gas collection centers in the Parsian operational district and high cost of purchasing a similar foreign sample, making eight control cards of these panels with the cooperation of the domestic private sector was on the agenda of South Zagros Company."

He added the new cards are equipped with three analog pressure inputs, three analog temperature inputs and seven digital inputs that can be installed on all types of old and new compressors.

Izadi said: "With the efforts of the committed employees of Parsian operational district, these cards were installed in air compressors of one of the gas collection centers, and after a one-month field test and necessary modifications, the cards are being exploited."
