Chief Executive officer of Iranian Central Oilfields Company announced 62 billion and 658 million cubic meters of gas production over the past 11 month of the current Iranian calendar year.

According to ICOFC Public Relations at a meeting held by ICOFC technical experts to forecast ICOFC well production for the first half of the next year Ramin Hatami said over 47,169 billion cubic meters of gas plus 37 thousand barrels of oil has been produced by South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company, one of the ICOFC affiliated companies.

He added during this period East Oil and Gas Production Company, another ICOFC subsidiary, has produced 13 billion and 800 million cubic meters of gas.

Hatami was quoted as saying that 1 billion and 690 million cubic meters of gas together with 33 million barrels of oil was produced by West Oil and Gas Production Company, the third ICOFC subsidiary, over the aforementioned period as well.

ICOFC CEO reiterated that South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company has planned to boost gas output at Aghar gas field by 20 mcm/d.

ICOFC is in charge of development and production from 80 oil and gas fields including 51 gas fields, 28 oilfields, and one oil-gas field. Currently, 13 gas fields and 13 oilfields in the realm of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company are on stream. ICOFC Headquarters, based in Tehran, is responsible for making policies and adapting macro strategies for oil and gas production and development. Three subsidiaries have been authorized to produce oil and gas from ICOFC oil and gas fields. These subsidiaries are East Oil and Gas Production Company, based in Mashhad, West Oil and Gas Production Company, based in Kermanshah, and South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company, based in Shiraz.
