The CEO of the South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company announced a daily increase of 1.5 million cubic meters of the company's gas production capacity by launching two wells.

The CEO of Iran Gas Engineering and Development Company said that the capacity of Shurijeh Gas Storage Facility is planned to reach 40 million cubic meters per day.

Fars Province is the second largest province in terms of gas reserves, behind Bushehr Province. Fars Province has a gas production capacity of 114 mcm/d, mainly from the Aghar, Dalan, Tabnak, Shanol, Varavi and Homa fields.

Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi said that during a visit to Turkmenistan the relationship between the two countries was considered and Iran's advantage in transit of gas, as well as the issue of gas swaps between Iran, Turkmenistan and Azerbaijan were discussed.

Iranian Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji said: "The amount of oil sales has increased dramatically compared to last year."

The CEO of ICOFC said: seismic operations of Rig, Shorom, and Dudro oil fields and Mokhtar gas field are on the agenda at ICOFC in order to identify structural status of the fields and to eliminate geological ambiguities in this regard.

Chief Executive Officer of Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) announced his company’s readiness for the sustained supply of gas during winter.

Drilling operation and completion of well no. 44 of Dehloran operational region in Ilam province with an initial flow of 1,500 barrels per day was accomplished, using homemade wellhead equipment.

Concurrent with the government week, well No. 75 of Khangiran operational region with a daily production capacity of 1.3 million cubic meters became operational to maintain the gas production ceiling needed in the east and northeast parts of Iran.

The new Iranian Minister of Petroleum Javad Owji, on the first day of his tenure, called for the serious determination and presence of the industry’s staff to overcome the crises and challenges facing the countrys oil and gas industry.
