Ramin Hatami, Chief Executive Officer of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, Said that the company is ready to produce 200 million cubic meters of gas per day by South Zagros Oil and Gas Company, one of the three subsidiaries of ICOFC, during the winter.

"Following the implementation of major overhaul at Nar and Kangan transmission pipelines in the first five months of the year average gas production of SZOGPC stood at 148 mcm/per day , while at the same time some 6250 barrels of oil per day was extracted from Sarvestan and Saadat Abad oilfields" , Hatami said reiterating that the companys average daily gas production would reach 200 mcm in the last four months of the year.

Hatami stressed that when Khesht oilfield comes on stream, daily oil production of South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company would stand at 16 thousand barrels and may increase up to 25 thousand in 2019.

South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company, based in Shiraz, is in charge of producing oil and gas from some oil and gas fields located in Fars, Hormozgan, Boshehr, Kohgiloyed & Boyerahmad, and Charmahal & Bakhtiari provinces. This company is also one of the three subsidiaries of the Iranian Central Oil Fields.
