NIOC Subsidiary in Sears of Int’l Partners to Develop Oil Projects

A subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) in upstream projects, Petroiran, is seeking international partners to develop offshore fields under the new model of oil contracts, the company’s CEO says.

A subsidiary of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) in upstream projects, Petroiran, is seeking international partners to develop offshore fields under the new model of oil contracts, the companys CEO says.

Speaking to Shana, Roham Ghasemi said his company has currently put the focus of its activities on offshore oil and gas exploration and production projects.

Petroiran Development Company registered as a subsidiary company to National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) is currently active mainly in offshore oil and gas field development projects in the Persian Gulf as well as onshore oil and gas field projects.
Ghasemi said Petroiran has identified its potential international partners and has even arrived at certain agreements with them.
He also voiced his companys readiness to initiate activities under the new model of oil contracts.

Petroiran is one of the 11 Iranian companies named by the NIOC as partners for foreign firms willing to join petroleum projects in Iran under the newly developed model of oil contracts.
