Bidboland Gas Refinery has increased its processing capacity by three times since 2013, the refinerys managing director said.

Ali Mohammad Pourreza told Shana: "Despite international restrictions in the refinerys development, we could raise its refining capacity by 300% and besides consuming the regional gas outage, take in 3 bcm of gas from the supergiant South Pars Gas Fields reserves."

The refinery has started essential repairs of its units by domestic experts and its boilers and electrical systems are being repaired in the first phase of the overhaul and refining facilities will be maintained in the second phase of the services, he said.
