Managing director of Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) has said the company is tasked to implement a force major development project on central fields in order to add 10 million cubic meters (mcm) per day to the country’s natural gas production capacity.

The managing director of Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) said his company will benefit from the capacities of the scientific institutions and knowledge-based enterprise of the western Kermanshah province properly to fill the gap created by the sanctions.

Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) is implementing a major zero-flare project, based on which the company will recover 1.5 million cubic feet (mcf) of flare gases per day based on a four-year plan by the end of the Iranian calendar year 1404 (March 2026), the managing director of the company announced.
