The gas production capacity of South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) has increased by 2.5 million cubic meters per day, an official with the company said.

Mahmoud Mirbagheri said the boost was made possible after completion of 25 acidizing, cementing and preformation operations over the wells operated by the company during the current Iranian calendar year which began on March 21.

SZOGPC supplied 200 mcm/d of natural gas and 6,000 b/d of crude oil from Parsian, Nar and Kangan, Aghar and Dalan, Sarkhoun and South Ghasho and Sarvestan and Sa"adat Abad operation regions.
