Iran"s Institute for International Energy Studies (IIES) held a joint round-table with Korea Energy Economics Institute to consider review the energy policies of the two countries including modeling of energy consumption optimization.

During the event, IIES Research Deputy Mohammad Mottaghi said the round-table was IIES"s third such event with KEEI.

KEEI is Asia"s first and world"s 12th leading institute in the field of energy studies which focuses on strategies studies on energy economy and energy macro-policies for the Korean government.

The meeting was arranged in two sections, considering energy efficiency and national action plans of governments, he said.
