The first vice president, emphasizing Iran"s resistance to US sanctions, described the sanctions waivers for eight countries to buy Iranian oil as a sign of the US defeat and victory of Iran.

According IRNA, Eshaq Jahangiri stated that the Iranian nation stood firmly against US" one-sidedness.

"In the economic sphere, which, in the words of the United States, is the economic war against Iran, our nation showed the world that it would resist the unilateralism of America," he said.

"We have to sell oil, even if the Americans confront with it."

He said Iran"s oil exports were at the level the county needed which could be dubbed as a loss for the US.
