Petropars Negotiates Development of Oil Fields with German, French Partners

Petropars has already held several meetings with its German and French partners on development of oil fields and construction of refineries, Managing Director of Petropars Company Mohammad Javad Shams said.

"We expect a rise in entrance of international companies to Iran during the post-Joint Comprehensive Plan Of Action (JCPOA) era," he added.

Shams noted that the international companies entrance into Iran will take half a years time because they need at least six months to have a field study on Irans projects.

"Phases 12 and 19 of the giant South Pars gas field will be completed till the end of this Iranian calendar year (started March 20, 2016)," he added.

The official said that after the JCPOA, Petropars Company held several meetings with German and French companies for development of oil fields and construction of refineries and the ground is now ready for negotiating on details.

He described the new Iranian year for oil industry as promising, adding that only those international companies will have the opportunity to invest in Iran projects that are equipped with the most advanced equipment.
