Irans commercial attaché to South Africa Mehrdad Siaydat Nasab says Irans exports to South Africa have increased in the post-JCPOA era.

Siadat Nasab said based on statistics released by Irans Customs Administration, the exports revenue rose by 70 percent to $14.3m in the first four months of this year (started March 20).

He said petrochemical products, bitumen, oil, tiles and ceramics, dates, power transformations, different kinds of floor covering, hand-woven carpets, and pistachios, industrial lubricants and so on were major exported items to South Africa.

He added that Irans capacity of exports is times higher than the current level and preparations should be made for trade between the two countries, including banking relations, shipping lines, direct flight and marketing of Iranian products.
