Deputy Minister of Industry, Mine and Trade Mansoor Moazami says Iran is capable of building huge ships and oil tankers.

Moazami, who is also head of the Board of Governors of the Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO), said the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Line can now benefit from such an expertise.

He said the post-JCPOA era is a suitable chance for Iran to promote industry through engagement with other countries. "So, we should use the chance to promote the equipment made inside."

He added that the project to indigenize production of 10 groups of goods and equipment needed by the oil industry is on agenda on order of the Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zanganeh.
