Iranian Minister of Petroleum Bijan Zangeneh briefed Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif as well as Iranian envoys and ambassadors to foreign countries on the current status of the countrys oil and gas industry. A conference was held on Tuesday with Iranian executives in the countrys missions and embassies where Zangeneh addressed the participants. Among the participants were Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, Government Spokesman Mohammad-Bagher Nobakht, and Power Minister Hamid Chitchian. In his speech, Zangeneh elaborated on the countrys latest oil and gas developments and achievements, the ongoing regional energy trends, the impact of JCPOA implementation on the petroleum industry of Iran, and the industrys outlook in the post-sanctions era.
