Manager of Sarajeh Refining and Storage Complex said that more than 23,000 tons of gas condensates were recovered last year from the storage facilities near the city of Qom out of which 16,000 tons were exported under supervision of the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC). “The complex recovers 8 million cubic meters of gas a day and injects it to the national pipeline networks,” Hossein Mohaqeqi told reports, adding that the 100-day output of the complex exceeded 4,600 tons. Sarajeh Complex which was launched in 2013 receives gas from national network and compresses it to storage tanks. “The complex can store 1.2 to 1.5 billion cubic meters of gas,” he added. Director of Region-III of Gas Transfer Operation also said at the press conference that the complex has been injected with 1.258 bcm of gas in the eight months of the current year (started March 21) so that it can sustain the network in the remaining months. “Recovery from the Serajeh storage facilities will be raised to 1 bcm by yearend (March 20),” Houshang Mehrdadfar said. On the complex’s development projects, he said that number of wells will increase to 11 from the existing eight.
