In order to increase the oil production capacity of the  Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, drilling of two wells in Danan oil field in Ilam province was completed.

According to public relations; Parviz Salehvand, in charge of maintenance projects and increasing production of Naft Shahr, Saadatabad, Danan and Dehloran oil fields in  ICOFC, announced that drilling of two wells in Danan oil field in Ilam province was completed by Mapna Group.

He added: in order to maintain and increase production from Saadatabad, Naftshahr, Danan and Dehloran oil fields, 6 wells were completed last year and in 1400, drilling of 10 wells is on the agenda.

Salehvand stated: with the drilling and completion of the two wells mentioned above, which took place in the Bangestan layer, the oil production capacity of Danan field increased by four thousand barrels per day.

Danan oil field is located 30 km southeast of Dehloran in Ilam province.
