South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company has successfully localized manufacturing of a key item used in air compressors.

The CEO of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company said the company had planned to produce over a billion cubic meters of gas from Sarajeh gas storage facility in the winter.

Iranian Central Oil Fields Company has planned to implement a $600-million to construct pressure boosting stations to ensure sustainable gas supply to refineries in the country’s central regions.

Sumar oil field, which was discovered in 2009 in the western province of Kermanshah, is jointly owned by Iran and Iraq. It holds 475 million barrels of crude oil in place, 70 million barrels of which is recoverable.

Danan oil field in Ilam Province is located along Iran’s border with Iraq. It lies 80 kilometers northwest of Andimeshk and 30 kilometers southeast of Dehloran. The field incorporates Bangestan and Asmari reservoirs.

Gas reproduction from Shourijeh D storage facility, which is the only gas storage facility in the Northeast part of the country and the largest storage facility in the Middle East has increased by 43% compared to the same period last year.
