Drilling operation and completion of well no. 44 of Dehloran operational region in Ilam province with an initial flow of 1,500 barrels per day was accomplished, using homemade wellhead equipment.

According to the public relations of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, the executor of Tang Bijar development projects announced this news and said: drilling operation of well no.44 of Dehloran operational region was put on the agenda in order to implement the maintenance and oil production enhancement plan of the operational region in the West Oil and Gas Production Company.

Masoud Esmaili added: the aforementioned well, by installing valves and wellhead facilities, stone trap, in-unit pipelines, access roads and 10 km transmission pipelines, transfers the extracted oil to Dehloran desalination unit for processing.

Dehloran oil field, as a joint field in the west of the country, is one of the operational regions under the West Oil and Gas Production Company.
