Iranian Central Oil Fields Company as a project-oriented organization, while supplying huge amount of hydrocarbon production of the country, has started its leap to produce as much oil and gas as four phases of South Pars, and with the implementation of contingency plans, it has a key role in ensuring energy security of the country.

In an intimate meeting held on the occasion of International Day of Project Management with senior officials, executors of maintenance and production enhancement plans, and experts of engineering and construction directorate of the Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, Mehdi Heidari, CEO of ICOFC said the company has a significant contribution to supplying energy portfolio of the country adding ICOFC contingency plan is the beginning of a new era of oil and gas production in the country as the company has an effective and leading role in sustainable energy supply of the country.

Iranian Central Oil Fields Company, is one of the five major oil and gas production companies and second gas producer of the country. This company has undertaken production and development of most onshore fields of the country located in Lorestan, Kordestan, Kermanshah, Markazi, Qom, Illam, Khorasan, West & East Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Fars, Bushehr, Hormozgan and Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, Provinces. At present the company supplies almost half of the country's gas demand.
